BuzzSaw Media obtains data from publicly available directories, compiled databases, and partner online surveys. All data is sourced and collected in compliance with Australian privacy laws (Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) – Updated 19th April 2020).

Electronic Commercial Messaging Opt-In
According to the Australian Spam Act, opt-in is required from Australia consumers, when sending a commercial message via electronic means, be it SMS or email. As such, all consumer data sourced by BuzzSaw Media from its its data partner (Eight Dragons Digital), is opt-in.
Do Not Call Register (DNCR) Compliance
The Do Not Call Register (DNCR) requirements related to telemarketing and the prohibition of unsolicited marketing calls to numbers listed on the Do Not Call Register.
BuzzSaw Media undertakes the following processes:
- Checking the Do Not Call Register: Prior to supplying any data for telemarketing activities, BuzzSaw Media routinely checks the Do Not Call Register to ensure that consumers who have opted out of such communications are not contacted.
- Maintaining an Internal Do Not Call List: In addition to the DNCR, BuzzSaw Media maintains an internal Do Not Call list, which includes consumers who have requested not to receive telemarketing calls.
Opt-Out Mechanism
If consumers wish to be removed from our database they can do so by:
- Using opt-out mechanism at bottom of emails or SMS’s received
- Calling the BuzzSaw Media Privacy Officer on 1300 908 220
